The last couple of weeks have been busy but satisfying. Politics at work have been better than expected; it seems the strategy of aggressively avoiding the areas of suck and making it clear that I'm just trying to move Kerberos forward is effective. I got out a bit last weekend and saw some people; that was good. The upcoming weekend, I visit eirl in Ohio.

The new job does come with some interesting challenges. Today one of our partners was concerned that some open source software which is a critical dependency for them does not support our product and announced they will depend on another implementation. My job was to explain why this was great news and we should all be happy. Ah spin!
